Overview:
This page is a coursework portfolio showcasing projects I completed over the past four years at James Madison University for my Marketing major with a digital marketing concentration and my Music Industry minor — a bold collection of real-world campaigns, analytics work, content strategies, and music-business projects that demonstrate the skills I’ve built in both fields. More projects are coming soon, and I’m grateful for the hands-on experience JMU provided, from collaborative class assignments and client-based projects to studio work and industry partnerships that prepared me to tackle creative and strategic challenges with confidence.
White Oak Lavender Farm
Integrative Marketing Communications Course
Project Duration: January - May 2025
Taking MKTG 384 at JMU thrust my team into the real-world challenge of building a complete marketing plan for White Oak Lavender Farm, where we developed cohesive brand assets, designed reusable templates, crafted persuasive presentations, and produced mock commercials that captured the farm’s rustic elegance and sensory appeal; we conducted market research to define target segments, built a strategic mix of digital and experiential tactics to increase visitation and direct sales, and iterated creative deliverables—logo variations, color palette, social and print templates, email layouts, and storyboarded ads—to ensure every touchpoint told a unified story that converted interest into bookings and product purchases.
StarStone Events
Concert Production & Promotions Course
Project Duration: January - May 2025
In MUI 422 at James Madison University I joined a 13-person team to build StarStone Events, a concert production and promotion company, where we handled everything from acquiring business licenses and booking talent to partnering with local venues to stage live experiences; our work spanned logistical negotiation, on-the-ground event coordination, and strategic promotion. I contributed to the project by developing visual assets and social content that shaped StarStone’s public identity, and I designed the brand logo by marrying hands-on Canva design with careful AI-assisted refinement — a creative collaboration that sharpened form, color, and cohesion without replacing the human judgment that defines great branding. The attached PDF is my individual end-of-semester book, a personal recap that documents our team’s achievements, the mock tour I produced, and design concepts and strategic ideas that helped drive the project forward..
DrawMaster Pro
Integrated Functions of Business Course(s)
Project Duration: August - December 2024
Taking the COB 300 courses at James Madison University felt like being thrust into a live-action episode of Shark Tank — my team and I conceived an original product and built a company from the ground up, wrestling with every logistical decision from financing and sourcing to production, operations, management, and marketing. We mapped out financial models, designed workflows for scalable production, and crafted a management structure, all while iterating our marketing strategy to reach a believable target market. The culminating pitch to our professors forced us to defend assumptions, justify unit economics, and demonstrate operational readiness as if real capital were on the line, sharpening both our strategic thinking and our ability to communicate a business case convincingly. The course didn’t just teach entrepreneurship theory — it demanded practical problem-solving, teamwork, and the grit to turn an idea into a plausible, investable venture.
Stay Tuned !
I am currently enrolled in MKTG 410 at JMU, a hands-on social media marketing course where my team and I are partnering with the client Wears Woody to build a complete, battle-ready social strategy; we’re developing brand assets and templates, crafting a detailed content schedule, and designing an ambassador program to drive authentic growth and engagement, all supported by research, KPIs, and scalable implementation tactics ready for immediate rollout.
